It is important to understand that Hinduism is not
just a single set of beliefs, but it includes many
different beliefs and traditions. Many of
them are held by the majority of Hindus.
Some Hindus believe very strongly that there is only one God who is everything. All the other Gods are just different ways of understanding and worshiping the one God, Brahman. Other Hindus will disagree and say that there are many Gods. Here we will look at the different gods that Hindus worship and what they do to honour and worship them. |

The Trimurti These are the three main
Hindu gods. Many Hindus think that they are all
different forms of the same God Brahman. They believe that Brahman
makes up all living things, including humans.
